Alarm system

July 4th, 2023 alarm on my 2013 tundra platinum started going off. Have done numerous searches on the cause, but nothing has worked. Toyota wants to pull steering wheel and check for a short. Not sure I want to give them a blank check to search for the proverbial needle in haystack problem. Problem has no rhyme or reason for time between alarm sounding. Sometimes it my go all day or night before activating or it may be anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour.
I would like to disable the alarm system, but still be able to lock and unlock vehicle with key fob.

How old is the battery? If I recall, someone had this issue and it was the battery.

 

Battery has been checked 3 times under load and has always checked out good. It is little over 2 years old. I'm thinking of changing it anyway because I'm getting desperate. lol
