Hurricane Harvey and the used car market

I’ve been reading that due to the hurricane somewhere between 200-500k cars have been flooded/damaged. Inevitably some of them that should have been sent to the junk yard make it into the used car market by people trying to make a buck. If you are in the market for a used vehicle in the near future make sure you inspect it carefully even if you’re not in Texas or Louisiana.
