New Service Campaign 23TC06 - Electronic Parking Brake ECU Reprogram

This is showing up on my Toyota App:



I had something like this happen once where the parking brake would not release after shifting in drive and with some restarting and manually hitting the button it released.

 

Just checked the app and yep I have the same notification. Can't wait to make an appointment and wait three weeks before the dealer can fit me in.

 

Weird, I've never had this issue and I'm an 11/21 build

 

I do have the notice in the app, just never had that happen. I'll take it in regardless.

 

Interesting. That makes 3 recalls I need to get the truck in for... Guess I better call my Ram, err, Toyota dealer and get it scheduled.

 

Dang I just spent two hours at the dealer earlier this week. The Brake service campaign just popped on my app today.

 

I have nothing in the App, no recalls nor service campaign messages, build date 5/25/23.

Same. Got the notice in the app, but never had it happen.....so far. 4/23 build

 

I lucked out. Got the recall while the truck was getting door jams replaced…still waiting for the notice for my second key though…

 

Luckily never had such issue with my parking brake, Aug 22 build

Me too or the 5k service. I bet the fob will be the last thing to be taken care of the 3.

 

The Toyota app needs a service campaign ... to fix the campaign notice going blank when I click on it.... (Even with the latest app.)

 

I started getting “EPB stopped incompletely” warnings in the dash about two weeks ago. Got the campaign notice in the app today. Aug 2023 build date.

 

Called Dealership and they said my VIN was not involved in this recall, 1/23 build.

 

Did you get the notice in your app?

 

It popped today in the app but cannot see what is it about because it's blank

 

that’s why I’m here searching. Mine comes up blank as well.

I dread the service department at my local Toyota dealer so much I will avoid this at all costs.

 

Just looked at my app…. It’s there for mine. Build date 01/23. And the day before thanksgiving I received notice that I can schedule for my second fob pickup and program. I took delivery of this vehicle February 17, 2023… When I do go in I’ll also point out again the faulty installation of the clear chip guard in lower front of right side wheel well that was looked at by Toyota service lead and also service manager three weeks after I bought the vehicle. Were supposed to get back with me, nothing. Then I’ll show them the chipping paint on my tailgate from the tailgate latch surround, the
popping-creaking driver’s side seat back, the extremely annoying center console rattling and the feathering that’s going on with both outer front tires. While I’m at it I’m going to request the turn off the SES noise Iv not liked since day one. As of this day, right now I have 1,985 miles on truck

 

I got the e-brake notification on my 06/23 build. First notification or recall for my truck. The error hasn't happened yet in 7000 miles. I'll probably wait until my 2nd FOB comes in, as well.

 

I received the recall on my 6/23 build. My first recall as well and I have not experienced any issues with the parking brake so far. Probably wait like most others for my second fob notice to do both at the same time. No biggie.

 

I've had two instances where my parking brake got "stuck". I just noticed this Service Bulletin. To the Dealership we go.
