I bought a TUNDRA LIMITED TRD PRO O.R. (Army Green) with 17K miles- non hybrid- (2022)- this past Saturday.

I was concerned about the monthly cost of fuel on the truck given some of the stories out there; however, I drove from Austin to Houston (about 189 total miles) yesterday for my mechanic to look at the truck and I was satisfied with 20 MPG I achieved.

Granted, I drive like an old man- at 75 miles/hour... on Adaptive Cruise Control (when able) and I only throttled when I absolutely needed to.

My prior truck was a 2007 Tundra SR5 with 272K miles at the time of the trade- (V6) - so to say the least- the 2022 is a dream to drive to drive.

    God bless and safe driving!

Drove my 22 non hybrid, loaded, with sticking out camper shell from San Francisco to San Diego and back.

When I was driving within the traffic around 65mph, I got about 18mpg
When driving 85 mph, about 16 mpg

    Can't complain..

I say like "an old man" because in Texas- Raptors, Rams, AT4's, etc. average 85- 90 mph on long highways. I move right on over. Speed kills... and it puts more wear on my truck... I throttle it when I need to but I baby this truck.

Wooooo?? You said you bought a Pro,, but it’s not a Hybrid?? If it’s a Pro then it IS a Hybid.

so what is it that you really purchased?? Just curious?

and I think the pro comes standard with all the Offroad stuff so it can’t be ordered as a package but I might be wrong on that.

plus you should look for another mechanic that is local. Driving to Houston might be problematic at some point? Just sayin.

I purchased what it reads on my profile... Limited (TRD Pro Off Road Package)- non hybrid. Mechanics that you can trust are hard to come by in my area... and mine is the best. Plus my family lives in Houston so the drive is not an issue.
Thank you for sharing your gas mileage info - very kind of you.

That truck does not exist,, the Pro and Limited are two different models. I think you are mistaken, maybe you are adding some extra words in there somewhere.
Enjoy you truck and have fun.

I didn’t spend the money to just swap out stuff.
At this point, we're going to need to restrict trim selections in profiles to drop down menu style. Tired of fake news.

I get a consistent 20 mpg + with by 2023 SR5 4x4 with TRD Off Road, Double Cab 6.5' bed. I drive it easy in Eco mode. A trailer changes everything of course.
