I just learned I could configure RH side of instrument cluster gauges on a non-hybrid 1794. Man I feel dumb I better read the owners manual to figure out what else I don't know

I recently purchased a 2022 TRD O.R. (non-hybrid) with 17K miles this past weekend. I am really liking this truck (I had a 2007 Tundra SR5). I had not bought a new vehicle in 16 years. I had to start reading the manual - because I could figure out the obvious on the truck- but none of details:) There's quite a bit to get familiar with.

Yep, believe it or not, even in this "do it for me" age, the Owner's Manual is usually the best place to start with a new vehicle!

Don't feel bad. Bought my 2023 TRD Pro in Feb last year and just figured the same thing out 2 days ago after watching a TFL truck towing video where they had trans and oil temps pulled up! I felt like a dumb A$$ after just getting back from a 5k mile trip towing a 8k lbs toy hauler and wondering why the Tundra didn't have a trans temp gauge. Oh well, ignorance was probably bliss at the speeds I towed up and over the Ike guantlet with 7 miles of 7% grade up to the Eisnehower tunnel over the Rockies!!
