2016 Tundra, switching stock steel wheels (255/70 R18) for stock alloy wheels (275/70 R18)


I have a 2016 Tundra SR5 four-wheel-drive with stock steel wheels. I would like to upgrade wheels from the stock steel wheels to stock alloy wheels. The alloy wheels come with larger tires. Can I run the stock size 255/70 R18 tires on the alloy wheels? I would prefer to run the 275/70 R18 tires that come on the alloy wheels? Will the bigger tires fit? Are there any things I need to be aware of before switching to alloy wheels from a 2015 Toyota Tundra?

 

No issue just do it they will fit the 275/70. I just took that size off and put on 295/70 with a 1 inch lift no wheel spacer. I did an info dive and all I had to do was hit the skid plate a few times with a hammer to stop the minor rubbing to fit 295s. I have readed on here that a guy fit 295 on stock height and I would say that would work all on 18' alloys
