I'm normally not quick to jump on the antibiotic train, but it may be a good idea to get started so your trip is pleasant; and if you decide not to take them right away, you'll have them on hand in case it flairs up or gets worse while you're traveling.

Closest Buc-ees to me is 8 hrs away in Kentucky. People rave over their beaver nuggets, but I'm not sure they're 16 hrs and $200 in gas good.
