Anyone else removed that extra batting in the air box yet. Any significant draw backs to doing so?

On real reason was cause a rodent decided to make a nest in one side lol. It’s not to bad but don’t want to buy a new box just to replace the baffle.

I took them out, no problems that I know of. They have been out since last year, summer of ’22.

Did it 2 weeks ago. Take a flat head screwdriver and just twist it by one of the posts and it will pop. Then you can grab it and pop each post. If it ever needs to go back in just put some super glue on each post and drop it in. Maybe took 2 minutes to pop out both of them.
