My uncle had one. He said he could leave the transfer case in neutral and the transmission in gear to let it warm up in winter.

In honor of @TaquitoBandito 's Bourbon Chocolate Pecan Pie, I give you....

The Bourbon Pecan Chocolate Chip Cookie....
    BPCC cookie stack.jpg

    BPCC Broke Open.jpg

    Bourbon Pecan Chocolate Chip Cookies
    • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 heaping teaspoon baking soda
    • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
    • 8 tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter, at room temperature
    • 2 cups packed light brown sugar
    • 2 large eggs
    • 2 tablespoons Buffalo Trace bourbon
    • 1 1/2 cups Guittard semisweet chocolate chips
    • 1 cup pecans
    • INSTRUCTIONS
    1. Place the butter and sugar In a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment. (Alternatively, use an electric hand mixer and large bowl.) Beat on medium-high speed until light and fluffy, 2 to 3 minutes. Add the eggs and beat until blended. Add the vanilla, salt, baking soda and beat until blended.

    2. Turn the mixer off and add the flour mixture. Mix on medium speed just until the flour is mixed in, then turn the mixer to high speed for a few seconds to pull the dough together; it will be chunky. Add the chocolate chips and pecans and beat on high speed to thoroughly and quickly mix in the chips

    3. Drop the dough by large spoonfuls onto a parchment lined baking sheet; don’t flatten them. Bake @350 degrees until lightly browned on top, 10 to 11 minutes. Cool on the pan on a rack for 1 minute, then transfer the cookies to the rack to cool completely. Repeat with the remaining dough.

While not exactly the same, they have these running around all over the VA:

No clue where they got em or if they're legal, but I want one. They're all standards too.

Looks like one of the Kei trucks. If you google you can find places that have imported them. They only do 50-55 MPH but people get them as little farm haulers or around town rigs.

Yeah, and if you’re much bigger than 5’-8” / 200lbs, it’s a real treat getting in and out of them to drive

i'll have 5 in the next few days
but my wife and I split the role of picking up/dropping off the kiddos. typically, she drops them in the morning and i pick them up in the afternoon. hence why i needed a sequoia in place of the tundra.
if i have the sequoia and can pick up a lil yota for $10k like that, i'd prob do it. but of course this is america:oldglory:, so i can't.:(

It was up in the mountains elk hunting. Mud roads with snow falling. Also, generally slower speeds for that.

We didn't ride in the bed often, but a couple times we did around town. Early to mid '90s in a ranch community so they weren't super tough about cracking down on it.

Kei truck prices vary, but they are generally right hand drive, manual transmission, 2WD if you want the lower end of the spectrum.

Everything is roughly 50% more expensive here. But we can have shorty shotguns, so there's that.

That price difference is a currency value, though, isn't it? Aren't the wages also higher?
