    I think it’s just a plate fee iirc.

    The only ones I have ever known (heard) of to issue tickets for a front plate is the City of Denver parking enforcement.
    It’s a very easy traffic stop, but 99% chance you aren’t getting a ticket if all goes well and ur not a shit head. Some will also negotiate - so let’s say you’re stopped for speeding. Cop doesn’t issue u a ticket for speed (moving violation) but does the front plate. (Big win for you).
