I have a 2023 Tundra TRD Off-road crewmax SR5. I am looking to install my AVS Aeroskin light shield. I’m not sure what open fuse slot is active that I can tap into. If anyone can help me out that would be great. I have looked at the manual. Can’t seem to figure out which one. Specifically talking about the fuse boxes under the hood as well. Also I would like them to come on with my headlights obviously not always running even when the truck is off. Thank you guys.

There is a fuse tap in the Fuse Box under the hood on the passenger side. It is one of the smaller fuses.

There is a thread(s) talking about adding lights to the heritage grille and the photo showing the exact fuse.

That link to the other thread looks correct on Quote #1. When i ran my fuse tap, the lights came on with the ignition. It was really simple, do you have a multimeter to test the output coming from the pins in the fuse block. Then you can test your fuse tap and see what power is getting into it. Another thing to check is your ground connection on the lights (separate connection).

Here is the notorious "Raves" wiring diagram. You also need a fuse in the fuse tap, I can't see if there is one in there from the picture angle.

    Hope this helps.

Gotcha, I added a 10A mini fuse connected the red wire to the blue butt end of the tap & wrapped the ground around a screw and it did not light the bar. The bar does light when I connect it to a 9v battery and the car turns on with the tap in so I’m stumped.
