Let the lady take the truck out yesterday morning to run some errands since her car isn't great in the snow and we just had a decent storm.

Pulling out of a spot she cut the corner a bit short and ran a pole down the side.

Truck is already in the shop just hoping to get it back by December since I have a lift, wheels/tires, and a truck bed camper all lined up for install. Hoping the body shop won't have an issue sourcing parts quickly and can turn it around in a month.

    Please commiserate with me

A typical repair in my area is about a month to a month and a half, depending on back ordered parts and size of repair. The bad news is that your cab corner is right on the edge of needing to be replaced and that is a lot of labor since it is a welded on part. The interior trim would need to be removed.

Yeah my hope is that they can stud weld and pull these. I plan to keep the truck until it falls apart so I'm not too concerned about resale and if it looks a little off I won't mind.

Luckily my wife refuses to drive anything bigger than her little SUVs she drives.
I think if there was an emergency and she had to drive my truck to get me to the ER, she might say sorry, you'll have to wait for the ambulance.
Besides, I like to be the only one who smashes up my vehicles, so I probably wouldn't let her drive it anyway.
What does she drive? Might be time to trade it in for a Subaru and ban her from the truck.
At least the cap looks okay.

Eh, leave it. That way it won't hurt so bad when you bang it up on the trail once you get that lift/camper on there! Take the insurance money and get some trail armor :)

My wife did that to my 09 6 months after I got it. I was out of town for work and half way through a bottle of Jack when she called and told Me. I was like "No biggie honey, we'll fix it when I come back. Things happen.

The points won for being like that lasted a long time.
