Just received mine today. Hopefully I can get it installed in the very near future. Let us know how it goes. Do you have the TRD Skid Plate?
Did you notice if your long bolts in the hardware pack, are all the same diameter? Per the directions it says to install the M12X100MM bolts up front and the M8X100MM bolts in the rear. It looks like all mine are the M12x100MM bolts. I have an email into Shaun to confirm

The Transmission Bolts are all 3/8-16x4mm. The transfer case bolts are all M12.

I thought the M8 bolts were a little anemic so I moved to the 3/8-16. I also couldn't find security bolts in the same size as the metric so it all got swapped to be the same.

Thanks for the clarification. I am Assuming I can use the original TRD skid plates bolts for the front rather than swap them out, correct?
By the way, this is one hell of protection plate!! Very well made and will serve the purpose well.

I will attempt to take pictures, and in any case, I will provide feedback. I do not have the TRD skid plate on my Platinum. All my bolts look correct when I reviewed the contents of the box at lunch today.

Got the shield installed this afternoon, product is very well made, nice and thick!. It was pretty easy to install on my own. I suspect if you have a factory stance you will likely need to jack the front up and lay the truck on some stands. My only design feedback would be to incorporate a drain hole for the tranny, I will likely remove the shield in the Spring and cut a hole in order to more easily serve the tranny fluid in the future.

I'd suggest just buying direct from GetCatSecurity.com :

    https://www.getcatsecurity.com/p-ca...eft-shield-2007-2021-toyota-tundra-catscrtun2

It's $598 directly from them for the Ultimate kit, AND there's a 12% off sale with free shipping going on right now for a total of about $530:

Are there photos of that one? I have Valhalla, but I saw someone post a photo which shows the shield of the ridgeoverland one surrounds the rear 2 cats.

Right on the site of GetCatSecurity, which is the homepage for the CCM one that Ridgeoverland is reselling. The rear cat shields that are part of the Ultimate kit do a great job on the surrounds for the rear cats, I like mine.

It's a cold week here in MN so I ended up bringing it into the shop. Got it on under 20min with no problem. Happy that if thieves did come by they'll less likely try to cut mine off now :)

It looks like you already purchased but another vote for Talons for others reading the thread. Talons had mine shipped the next day and was at my house within a couple days. So far we have put talons shields on 4 different vehicles within the family.

I would look into what they call security bolts vs what we call security bolts......

Their security bolts are standard torx bit bolts, that are sold right next to the allen head bits in every hardware store. Our security bolts are a proprietary bit that you can really only get through us.

The only reason we use allen bolts instead of torx bolts, is we use a few larger sizes that you cannot readily got in a torx style fastener. We use those bolts as they are long enough to through bolt in the frame in a few areas with a nylon lock nut instead of using a nut plate in the frame. Not only does this give us a more secure attachment for the plate, but it would greatly increase the frustration of said thief if they were to try to unbolt the plate from the truck.

We have looked into changing out bolt head to a torx style a few times, and just custom ordering the sizes we need. The main reason we don't is we see no advantage of a torx bolt over an allen as far as security goes.
