Bilstein 5160 possible issue question

    One of the Bilstein 5160 shocks was shipped with packaging to keep in compressed while the other plastic strap that was keeping it compressed had broken in transit. Making it longer and busting through the box.

    Will this be an issue? Will I see issues with that shock as there must be a reason for having that compressed. I have yet to put them on my truck yet.

    Bilstein 5100 top setting Coachbuilder .25" Shim SPC UCAs Bilstein 5100 Rear
    its compressed so it can be shipped easier in a smaller box. One of my rear 5100's was also shipped extended. Havent had a problem.
