    Question for fellow 3rd Gen owners;
    When on the auto climate setting, does your screen show you fan speed? Or where the air is coming from? My 2020 tundra and current 22 Tacoma will show you both of these when on auto. Also if I switch from auto to any other setting, say vents for example, it still doesn’t show my my fan speed until I change the fan speed by pressing the toggle button.
    Not sure if this is a glitch on my tundra or someone in their infinite wisdom at Toyota thought this was a good idea?

    Thanks guys. After being accustomed to the old style Toyota display I found this a little annoying. At least I know it’s not a software glitch

    Sure. If you can figure out how to turn off the AC compressor and have only the outside air blowing, please let me know... Even though I click on the AC button and it says AC Off, I can still tell ac is working and blowing cold air

    When I bought my truck, September 25 of this year, I definitely didn’t need ac here in the north east. My display didn’t show ac on or off. I noticed the ac drain tube dripping in my garage, so next trip I pushed the button then “ac off” displayed. Ever since then it’ll either say ac on or ac off. I think if you use defrost mode (the separate button) it defaults to ac on to put dry air on the windshield to clear the fog. In previous vehicles I’ve owned this setting would automatically turn on the AC light. My tundra doesn’t show AC on but I know it is.

    under the auto climate control settings in rhe head unit you can turn auto AC off, which I’ve done in my previous Toyota’s and for the most part I believe it’s off.

    Try turning the AC off, turn the recirculating air off, then turn the temp setting to LO. You should get outside air.
