Hello I bought my truck in February and everything ran great, until one day my horn quit working, I researched it to find out the clock spring needed replaced, then the battery died, replaced it, then the starter took a crap, replaced it, next the alternator, replaced it and the serpentine belt, and replace the battery again, 1 week later battery dead again, I later noticed that the clock on my dash was always staying on even after the key was pulled from the ignition!!! Yesterday I took the subwoofers and amp out of the truck to hopefully get this thing figured out, however the clock is still on!!!! The only way I can get it to shut off is when I pull the ECU B1 fuse under the hood, however now the keyless fob doesn’t work and the a/c doesn’t work amongst a couple other features, what is going on with this thing, by replacing the clock spring will that help????

Have you tried replacing the clock spring?

Thank you for your reply! Not yet, do you think it would that cause a parasitic draw?

I am not 100% certain in that. I have herd of them causing all types of issues and for $20-$30 it’s cheap enough to try
