When starting our new 23 sr5 the heat/ac is always set to blow through the vents. We prefer to always set it on windshield defrost. Is there a way to reset this?

I know my wife's rav4 2017 she just sets it before shutting her car off so it's on during remote start (12 volt solution) phone app. I do the same in my platinum but not sure if I have to or not.
Maybe someone can educate us some more?

You have to select the defrost and feet selection on the mode. Front defrost only is a push button selection only.
