I had my Tundra in the dealer yesterday for 20k maintenance, new key, tonneau cover and was hoping for the fuel line fix. Was told there is no fix yet for the fuel line. Could be a few months.

Does this jive with what you all are hearing?

Often times with high volume recalls, the redesigned parts for the remedy get backlogged at the part vendor as they need to manufacture parts for all affected vehicles as well as still supplying the updated components to the assembly line for new vehicles being built at the final assembly factory. Often an issue requiring a recall or update will be announced well before the logistics of getting the required parts supply

The temp fix is a sleeve over the line to prevent chafing.

Here in eastern Canada, I'm told the temp fix will be available before the end of November.

After crawling under and having a look myself out of curiosity, I've not given it a moment's thought. Statistically speaking, I suspect you have a better chance of being killed in a car crash than 1. this line leaking and 2. causing a problem.

I’m really not concerned about either that or my delayed key fob. I’ll continue to drive the truck like I stole it!

No Instances. They found lines that were chafed and take precautions to prevent it from becoming a potential problem.
Just a typical case of people making a mountain out of a mole heap

There not called fires. My wife just bought a 2026 Hyundai Tuscon. After a couple months we get a letter (might have come through the iphone app first) saying there had been several "thermal events" caused by a defective circuit board in the transmission fluid circulator pump (part of the shut engine off at stop light stuff). They recommended we park the car outside but could keep driving it. But if we saw or smelled smoke or saw flames we should stop and get out.

Recently got a recall notice in the mail and just had my 2023 in for 5K checkup, same thing, no remedy currently available.
