Best shock with reservoir and coils to buy with my setup.

Looking for recommendations. I have a rough country 6" lift on my 2007 tundra. I also made the mistake of putting heavy forged 26x14" wheels on 35s. Needless to say I'm having suspension issues...lol. My coilovers are toast! I need to have them replaced which I believe is causing stress on my ball joints because I've replaced ball joints twice already. I also bought a new rack and pinion, and tie rods to have installed. Can someone give me a good recommendation on what coilover setup with or without reservoir would be best considering my setup? Something that is going to accommodate 26x14 wheels, 6" lift and last so that I'm not causing stress on the ball joints. Thanks in advance!

I would get rid of those wheels. I'm betting that most would agree that the size of them looks horrible.

Facts. I can’t imagine the weight of those

 

I had 22" rock stars and I haven't notice the difference other than the road noise is a little louder but not unbearable. MPG went down but thats expected.

 

Looks aside, those wheels are putting a lot of stress and leverage on your ball joints and that’s why they are wearing out. Not much you can really do about that outside of changing wheels.

 

Nice shocks would be a waste of money with wheels like that imo. You cant drive in a way that utilizes the shocks

 

I bought my truck already lifted so I'm new to the truck suspension world. However, I see trucks on the road with the same 26" wheels and lifts all the time. What is required on their setup that I need to do with mine? Is everyone with 26x14 facing the same issues that I am?

 

Given enough time, most likely, yes.

 

The wheels are super heavy and wide, the shocks are not wearing out your ball joints. Wheels that offset and heavy are putting insane leverage on them
