    What's up guys and gals!

My name is Ben. I recently totaled my Subaru Crosstrek and decided to buy something a little bit older so that my german shepherds won't piss me off too bad when they get it filthy ;). Ended up buying a 2004 Tundra SR5 and I absolutely love it so far. Mechanically works like a champ, but the body looks a bit like a work truck. No biggie though.

The only downside is having to take a guy's word on the engine/trans. The story goes that the truck body has ~325k miles on it, but the engine and trans were replaced and those have ~175k. On top of that, the gauges on the original dash were starting to fail, so he said he found another dash at a salvage yard (from a Sequoya I think..?) and that dash has an Odometer reading of ~406k lol. So I'm definitely hoping I'm working with a truck that has 175k and not 406k, but like I said it's currently running like a champ. Everything feels smooth and tight.

I bought the truck about a month ago, and have flushed the brake lines, changed the oil, and just replaced the timing belt (with tensioner and idler pulley) and water pump. Next I'll do a drain and fill on the trans fluid.

Anyways, just wanted to post something to introduce myself. I don't have pics of the truck on this PC but I'm sure you have a decent idea of what it looks like lol. I've read a handful of threads on here already and I'm super excited to be a part of it!
