06 Sequoia To do cams/valves or not to do?

    Big mods are coming soon, but not too soon.
    74k miles.
    17 year old cam seal and valve covers.
    No leaking for either.
    I'm getting the timing belt done...

    Replace now or wait until they start leaking?

    If no leak, no fix. I don't see either as a proactive fix.

    If you were to do cam seals, during TB/WP replacement would be a good time. However, if you're not leaking, any leak that sprung between now and next TB/WP could likely be easily solved using a gentle seal reconditioner, like ATP'S AT-205.
