Pretty much. However, even for how great the Tundra lineup is, there are limits. Moving up to a HD truck is expensive and can get even more expensive in repairs. Choose wisely.

Just crazy how many trucks had issues and he owns a mechanic shop so he goes above and beyond with maintenance. Not a slam on Ram either, but when you buy these trucks there is an expectation that they last longer than 100k miles

Diesels are just not the same anymore. Just one of many reasons why I did not choose to go in that direction plus for what I do it was kind of overkill

I’ve been thinking about getting a bigger truck myself. Keeping my Tundra of course. Never getting rid of it if I can help it. My son is a diesel and gas mechanic and works on all three. He told me if I wanted a bigger truck to get a GM. He said Dodge would be next and avoid Ford.

That’s interesting. I’ve worked for GM dealers for over two decades. When it came time to purchase an HD, I bought a brand new 2022 Ford Super Duty diesel. I could have save a bunch of money buying the GM but, preferred the Ford. It was a great truck and had zero issues or regrets with the Super Duty and the 6.7L. I now just have my Tundra.

For me, I choose Ford/GM before even considering a Dodge/Ram, especially their new stuff.

Any updates on the tremor? How’s it been? I’m considering the same. Love my 18 platinum but I can’t stop staring at 20-22 super duty’s as they drive by. Think I’ve got to let my urge dictate my actions.
