23' Crewmax, 4x4 with 5.5' bed in Platinum trim: Wondering if anyone else can feel a vibration (like an out of balance feel) in the seat of your pant when you honk on the gas and accelerate hard? I am not an auto mechanic but the best I can explain is that it feels like the driveshaft is out of balance. The deeper the acceleration (higher torque applied), the stronger the feel I can sense. It is not during shifting as much as during the entire acceleration cycle.

If your driveshaft is out of balance you would know.

The only feeling I get when I “honk” on gas is the g-forces when the turbos go WHOOOOOSH….

Check your tires. An out of balance tire or a bad tire could cause your issue.

Platinum trim has the rear air suspension, right? First thing I’d check is that the ride height is set correctly. Ride height out of spec can cause driveline angle issues, and that = shuddering vibrations, usually worse with more drivetrain torque.

Out of balance driveshafts are usually feel worst when coasting.
