Hi! I bought a 2017 Tundra. It was pretty nasty. I just undid a couple screws and noticed that there’s a led but maybe whatever poured on it shorted it out.

What is the part I’m looking for? I have a pic but can’t find it. Also, there’s two little cables that go in to the bottom of it but I don’t know how to connect it since if I push down with a new one the cables will slide down.

What bulb/led am I looking for and what do I do to get those two cables to snap in if I find a new light?

    thanks a million!

The little led board lights up the shifter letters next to the shift knob. You should be able to pull the wire up in order to plug into the led board, and then button it all back up. Fwiw I started with the "75G221-011?" printed in the top left corner in your pic, that gave the general part number for the shifter, and pulled up the parts diagram using the Toyota parts store for my local dealership (parts.nameofyourdealership.com)

You might try replacing just the led first, and if that doesn't work, replace the wire and keep working backwards. Good luck with the cleaning and congrats on the new truck. I recently bought mine as well and love it.
