    *****ISSUE FOUND*****
Update : 11/25/23 at end of thread. Update: 10/27/23 2014 Toyota Tundra 1794 115k miles runs awesome. Cold or warm doesn't matter. Trucks starts for 1second then stalls, 2nd key turn if no dash lights the vehicle has no response what so ever just a click, third key turn if I get dash lights it will either start and stall or start and run. Sometimes it takes me 5 minutes to get it running, when I finally called a tow truck it started and they drove it onto the flatbed.

Anytime the dash indicators light are off there is no response from a key turn no matter if I turn the key 50 times, the dash lights indicate a connection,

Has anyone had this experience and what was the resolution?

Here is what's been done as of 10/27/23 after starting issue:
    • New Battery
    • New spark Plugs (Because of mileage)
    • New Coils (Because of mileage)
Update 11/25/23: Answer Found! - After three shops asked me to come and pickup my truck because they couldn't find my intermittent starting issue, each shop said "We Started it 10x times" all using the same answer was weird to me but! We ordered the ignition switch that sits behind the key, as we were replacing it we came across this broken blue wire in the picture, that completed its break as we disassembled the ignition. we spliced it and put it back together and that was the issue! I cannot return the ignition switch #84450-71010 $100 so if you need a new one I'll sell it for $50. That's good considering had I gone the starter route I would have been out a $1000! The best I can tell is this break was the eventual cause/action from the forward and retracting of the steering wheel in the Tundra as it was just to tight in the original assembly. Issue started around 110k miles fixed at 116k miles.

Have you had the battery tested? My Flex only ever had issues starting when my battery was failing. Replaced battery and haven't had issues.

I had a similar issue and there was corrosion on the battery terminal.

Same here. Flex fuel, only time ever had issue starting was battery related.

The first thing I did was replace my battery, then did my spark plugs and coil packs since I turned the 100k mark.

Check the fuse boxes - I had an intermittent start issue I traced back to a loose ING fuse under the hood.
