Mornin, y’all! FINALLY bought my first Tundra back in August. Located a 2018 1794 edition 4x4 in silver sky metallic with 35k miles. Original owner babied it, and now it’s my turn. I couldn’t be happier with it….oh but wait, I can. Hence stumbling across this forum while browsing around for upgrade/modification options. Hoping you folks can be a bad influence on me and help me figure out everything I need to know about making my tundra, MY Tundra!

I’m a long term GM guy, and will never be a basher of the brand, but the Tundras have LONG since grabbed my eye and the desires of my heart. Stoked to be a part of the family, now. That said, I’ve got tons of questions about the Tundras. I’m in unfamiliar territory for now. Looking forward to learning and having some fun with my new rig!

Welcome and greetings from Minnesota. Did you apply the pinstripes or was that from the previous owner? Yours is the only other Tundra I’ve seen with pinstripes besides mine. Sharp looking truck, congrats.

Pinstripes were on there. I debated, but I like the way it breaks up the silver so I kept em around. Where ya at in Minnesota? I’ve got family up there.

Thanks, y’all. Freakin love this truck

Greetings again from Minnesota. I’m from Cedar, about 40 minutes north of Minneapolis. Believe it or not, I have relatives in Plano, Texas. Small world. I’m an old hot rod guy, so pin stripes are mandatory on any thing I have with wheels. I went with red over black fine lines on my Tundra. Strippers are getting harder to find, I think it’s becoming a dying art.

small world indeed. I grew up in north garland and around Richardson and Plano.
Completely agree striping is a lost art. Had some incredible free hand artists do many stripes for me over the years (I work in collision repair) but most are long since gone
