What's the first mod/upgrade/fix/whatever you'd do for your Tundra?
I've only had mine for going on a week and I am in heavy lust. As a result, I'm reading all sorts of things on mods and additions, and before I start spending money on things I don't really need, I figured I'd ask you guys.
    Thanks for any feedback.
    Cheers,

My first is always window tint, followed by a tonneau cover. That's on every truck I've ever owned.

Tires are always first for me. Factory tires suck.

Floor mats (Tuxmat), then tonneau. (Diamondback). Then winter tires (Toyo gs6). I bought a set of OEM take-offs from eBay (sr trim) for the winter tires. Then running boards (trd).

The day after I got my truck I gave it a good wash, and chemical/mechanical decontamination, quick polish with a rotary, and installed a ceramic coating. I also ceramic coating the entire interior (except headliner).

And of course I have a cup grip for the front and rear cup holders. Easily the biggest bang for your buck “upgrade”.

I would wait and get used to the truck. Don't do anything for first couple month.

There may be certain issues or questions come up and it may be much harder to get warranty service if you did a bunch of mods...

If I'd knew I would still have throttle lag issues and some wind noise, I wouldn't have spent $7k on a paint matched silver color camper shell...

I'm now only limited to silver color trucks if I were to trade in mine

I see you have a Pro. Honestly there’s really not much to mod on those. Most of the upgrades people do are already covered. I’d tint the windows, get a tonneau cover and be done with it. Maybe swap the wheels if you want something different. The Pro wheels are pretty easy to sell since a lot of people want them and would likely cover the expense of new ones.

    ^^^^Best advice right there ^^^^
Since you have been on the boards reading this and that it falls down to what "you" want done first on your Rig.
Remember it's a marathon not a sprint so enjoy and learn on each and every step.

I don't think I saw anyone mention this, but one of the simplest/cheapest/needed items is mud flaps. I didn't even think twice about whether or not they were standard, and didn't think anything of it until I drove 3 MPH through a slightly muddy parking lot.

Otherwise I always have a bed cover.

I used to buy a vehicle for whatever I could afford at the time and then end up modifying it to the next trim level etc.
What a mistake that was. These days I buy it loaded and just enjoy it.

I did swap the tires off my 1794 after two days of owning it. Bed cover was next.

Stop reading the "who's got their 2nd key fob" post! A few need to have a psychologist visit or something.

I'd like the tonneau cover but since I practically had to give away a 4 yr old from my past fffffford I won't even bother getting one for the Tundra. Tinted front sides maybe in the future as it really looks good with the fronts done up.
