Did any TRD's come with Katzkins?

I'm looking at pics of this 2018 for sale and I notice Katzkins tags on the seats. Am I looking at aftermarket seat covers, or original upholstery? Just curious.

Dealerships will add them for a price. Probably the original buyer wanted leather.

I added them to my SR5 and liked them better than the factory leather in my Pro.

 

2018 Pro was still SR5 based. Most had cloth standard. This one probably did and got a leather package installed. I’ve sat in a truck with Katskins. It’s very nice leather. Felt nicer than OEM.

 

Any rough idea what that upgrade is/was worth?

Is the original fabric left in place under the Katzkins covers? The truck is very low on miles, it would be nice to know it had like-new upholstery under there for someday.

 

They remove the fabric and install the leather where the fabric used to be.

 

I don't believe they offered the TRD Pro in '18.

 

Believe you’re right. It was the in between year. They had the TRD Sport that year.

 

TRD PRO Tundra came out in 2015 and inferno was the special color. The leather in that one is aftermarket.

I had Katzkin installed in my truck and it ran me $1200 with heated front seats.

I DIYed mine. I think all in with adding seat warmers it was under $800 and the cloth is removed.
Last time I had a dealer offer to add they said they would do it for $1000-1200 but that was a few years ago.
