I found a great guy in Edmonton who is making Catalytic Converter shields for our Tundras. Great quality and Great prices. I got mine installed today. It was a perfect fit and protects more than just the cats, my transmission and transfer case are also protected.

    www.asylumdezyns.com is the website

As you can see, the fit and finish and quality are amazing. Thanks @Mykeromachine for all your help!

Toyota Tundra crew max, long box 4x4 TRD off road | Cars & Trucks | Cranbrook | Kijiji

If I was in the position for a dedicated overlanding rig, thats not a bad start / set up for me. A little pricey, but all the work has been done, you can only hope it was done well & right with no gremlins! Drive it away ready to go!

    73k for truck
26k for basic camper (quebec dealer website) more depending on what accessories on top of that added
    5k for wrap
tires & wheels & prinsu etc
    Misc components

retail for all the stuff added is well over 100k, maybe if I guess in the 120-125 range

This is a better deal than the TRD Pro for 135k

That’s actually a really nice build and not super outrageously priced.

@gmcguire7220 your math is pretty close to mine. It would probably be closer to $130k CAD to build this unit, assuming you could get all of the parts. Some of those options are pricy. If I was selling I would start at the same asking price.

I am looking for a good set of chrome door handles for my 2021 Tundra, I am not exactly sure how to look for it in kijji.ca though.

Do you have the smart key? If yes, it’s fairly rare on Kijiji. Might do better on the site:

Are you also looking for chrome mirror caps?

No smart key, my truck is pretty simple. I wasn't looking for the chrome caps. I don't really care for that look. The only issue buying from the states is shipping.

Original TRD 1900 supercharger for 3UR (the listing is not mine) I have the TRD Injector and fuel pump, whoever buys that kit can reach out to me and you can have the TRD injector and fuel pump for free if you pay for shipping.

    Decent deal...

I thought hard about that one but decided to go with a new Magnuson in the spring. Need (want) additional towing torque over the mountains.

    You will love it .
I do not think I could buy a 5.7 tundra without a sc after owning one (just have the trd 1900). It isthe perfect amount of power for the size of truck.

Some of us are debating if the 1900 has more torque downlow vs 2650.

I have the 2.3" pulley on the 1900 and 650cc injectors and 340lph pump, and I consistently log high 4s 0-60 on 37s.

It's a good debate and it's plausible that the 1900 is stronger in some cases.

I have been quietly following the supercharger threads for quite some time. It's lead me to believe there are multiple paths to power but the one that fits my needs is via the 2650.

My hypothesis is the the 2650 will have better real world usable low-end torque with my combination of stock gears, 34" tires (if I go bigger I can't get in my garage with the tent on) and pulling a 7k lb trailer. I don't want to get into different pulleys, etc, but just be able to point at any high mountain pass between here and Vancouver with confidence I am not doing 60 km at the top.

It would be nice to blow past a few Ford Ecoboosts along the way up :)

The only additional thing that really appeals to me is the OTT tune vs the Mag. I have the NA tune and really like how it shifts gears. Would hate to lose that.

Moutain Pete - our elevation here in Calgary makes the smaller pulley a definite upgrade. Air is thinner and the blower needs to be fed to get the psi needed to make the investment in a SC worthwhile. Sniv is very good to bounce these things off of as a reputable tuner for the SC forum. I would make some moves in understanding the plus and minus of the pulley size vs. elevation.
