Rear fox eyelet replacement?

    Wondering if any of u have replaced the stock eyelet on your fox rear shocks! If so your thoughts! I have what I consider a little to much shock shaft showing 3-5 " an I thought a longer eyelet would push it in a little more, giving me more useful shock actions! Yes I would probably need to consider bump stop heighten. thanks
