For the past year and a half i had an issue with popping in my steering wheel at slow speeds when going over bump's or pulling into the driveway. Last week i replaced my intermediate steering shaft assembly and it fixed the problem.

This morning i came to a stop with my wheels turned and heard/felt one loud pop coming from the front end. I have never heard or felt this pop before.

My mechanic that installed the intermediate steering shaft did mention that my steering rack looked a bit loose but wasn't to concerned about it. I had the steering rack replaced with a steering rack i bought from NAPA auto parts about a year ago. Could this be the issue?

Last year i added the following mods:

Dirt King upper and lower control arms.
Fox 2.5 shocks front and rear. (left at factory height).
