Anyone here tried doing a 3D print of the 2 middle pads on the brushed stainless running boards?

I'm have no experience with 3D printers or what medium they use......but if it was durable enough, it would a perfect solution, rather than having to shell out the crazy money they ask for new ones, or trying to track a whole board down at a junk yard hoping the pads are on it.....

I had to remove one of the pads and discovered to my delight how the long plastic studs that fit through the holes on the running boards are threaded and then secured with a nut, and if you try and get ake the nut off to get the pad off you have to sacrifice the threaded plastic stud.

So my work around was to re-fasten with stainless hardware.....

have the same problem. my tundra is a gen 1, but same basic issue. a new pad from toyota is about $350 bucks. was planning to go the machine screw route, and your picture confirmed what i was thinking.

works perfect, washer on top and underneath with a nylok nut, re-used the pre-existing holes on the tube & just made sure to line everything up when drilling through the pad.

Went with stainless Pan Head Philips.....How together another 20yrs out of them.
