In my opinion, the front console area is pretty much useless. The flat area has no depth or grip and the cup holder is under the ledge of the lowest switch panel.

Would like to see what others did with this space.

    thanks

I use the “cup holder” for loose change, and the flat area for hard candy/cough drops

It curretly just holds random stuff for me. The keys to the various things sit in the cup holder and the flat spot usually holds my BT speaker, wallet or whatever else I throw there until I clean it out again.

I keep loose change, my office keys, and a pack of ice breakers mints in there. Gotta be careful to not put the mints in first, though, or you'll have to turn the truck upside down to get them out.

:p Yeah, I sell fasteners for a living, so my eye tends to notice screws laying around.

Plus, depending on who you ask, I may have a couple of screws loose too.

I’m hoping to have my triple stick shifters popping out of that section when I finally get my Atlas transfer case installed. :fingerscrossed:

    This one shows 2 sticks

My wallet lives on the flat spot. The cup holder holds whatever misc item needs a safe place at the moment.

I'd like to add another part to the question though: what about that long trough on the right side??

Not that I regularly put them there or have any all that often, but when I do, that long slot thing holds envelops perfectly......

I have my phone mount in the cup holder, with the flexible neck it brings it out and can be looked at by wife in the passenger seat, and then swung over to be in my view. My other phone (work) goes on the flat area.
