Level of effort to sell a house at 95% compared to market is 1/10 - commission check is 9.5/10
Level of effort to sell a house at 100% compared to market is 7/10- commission check is 10/10
Level of effort to sell a house at 105% compared to market is 10/10- commission check is 10.5/10

Guess where a lot of salespeople / realtors price their products?

We just had a contract put in on our house 6 days after listing with multiple offers.

Our realtor kicks ass and knows her business. She came in, gave us a list of things to do, we did them, and she said 7 days it will be under contract. 6 days it was.

The sign is a bit much. The MLS listing will state whether shoes, booties, or anything else should be done when showing your property. Hell, if someone wants my bare feet all over their house...ok.

Let her go, interview the next realtor, explain your expectations to be met to the new realtor with in a reasonable time limit. And consequence of not meeting said expectations, the boot.

I pulled a Trump and fired her. :infantry: I made the new realtor know what my expectations were. I did not have this talk with her and that is definitely my fault. I assumed it went without saying. The new realtor says he will have everything done by early next week. Including the ridiculous sign that i want to see so bad.

I rock the same policy, glad to see I'm not the only one, haha.

We have a box of those shoe covers on hand.

Funny, I have a buddy that has the same policy with no shoes in the house. It drives him nuts. He has a rather large German Shepard that has full access to the outside and inside, so doesn't make much sense to me.

However, I have a shoe policy when he comes over. He has to wear shoes when in my house. Only him though.
