Does anybody that purchased the TRD Fox shocks regret buying them?

Is the Coachbuilder Pro kit worth the money?

Did anyone add better bump stops?

While waiting for Bilstein to release their new 8100 DSA series for the Tundra, I came across a used set of the Fox off a 2021 Pro. Supposedly taken off around 6k miles. The price was too good to say no. And, honestly, after having one Tundra totaled earlier this year, and losing all that money on it's suspension, I was having a hard time justifying spending $5k plus on suspension.
I know the the TRD Fox won't be as good as the Bilstein 8100 series. But, at 1/5 the price, I'm sure the TRD Fox, aren't 1/5 the shock.

Check the build link in my signature.
I don’t have a lot to compare to other than my 2008 DC that had the TRD Offroad suspension, but I’ve been really happy with the Fox TRD Pro on my current truck.

I went with the Westcott preload lift up front for a little more height, and currently the Coachbuilder +2 shackle in back plus the RAS SD to level things out (actually returned just a hair bit of rake when I’m unloaded).

The westcott front kit included front bump stop extensions. I’ve been considering upgraded front stops and still need to get some extended ones for the rear.

but I also don’t get out wheeling like you AZ guys do

I don't have a lot to compare it to, neither. Tundra wise, at least.

I won't be nearly as weighted down as you were/are.

My hesitation with the Wescott kit, is that the shocks aren't valved to control the additional rebound that the preload collar could create. Which may or may not even be a factor.

I haven't been doing nearly enough off-roading this year. Nothing tough-ish anyway.

I’ve been loaded down to GVWR or above twice out in Colorado with mine. Once doing the shelf road thing (Imogene Pass), and once getting to remote hunting areas. We do a bunch of off roading in Tennessee as well. It is killer. It’s really almost a mid-travel kit. I’m using it with RAS in the rear. That helps me not squat when the bed is loaded down, acts like a sway bar on pavement, and still articulates well when off-roading.

The only situation I wouldn’t recommend it for is if you only really use your truck for towing.

    Nice.
No towing for me. At least not at the moment
