Working out details and working on posting the significant updates from the trip so far, but this is looking like my trip home. If anyone has any input, let me know!

Misc update before another photo dump.

I decided I will get the bed seal kit after I get home. Everything is moved for mom and I dont care about the stuff in my truck bed since everything is sealed. The red dust here is a PITA though. i popped the hood to fix a blown fuse was was shocked at the dirt, but its fun.

No issues with the truck on this trip so far. i decided I am not washing it until after I get home. The bugs are larger here in the West, and this is coming from a guy who spent1/3 of his life in Texas and 1/3 in Florida.

Anyway, old girl stretched her legs a lot the last month between airport runs, truck loads, yard work, sight seeing and some game road explorations. Pictures to follow...

 

Ok, here he go.... Since the Northern lights I started playing on game roads and just driving around between where we were staying and then back to home base.







And someone protested leash time, which then lead to weeks being off leash



Then it was time to burn the last of the BS before the GF arrived and the real exploration began.

 

The next day I picked up the GF and took her to the lodge. She loved it, of course because it is awesome. We drank coffee on the balcony and then loaded up for a misc adventure. Some of these photos are cropped since I dont post pictures of others like that... but yall will get the point. Also, just know we are both smiling





I even took her to look at those faces in the MNT:


I had to stay with the truck while she got her picture in front of the monumnet because this dog is still learning his seperation things... So I fixed a blown fuse on my 12v power... Huge thank you to this forum for finding that quickly.

We enjoyed the weekend in good company and then loaded up to head to the badlands. I am still working on my first round of drone footage, but here is an example:

Enjoyed the remaining time with family and friends, made some more airport runs, had some camera free fun and then got everyone home. Then the not fun of cleaning up started.

What a freaking day... So we loaded up and left hot springs. First stop, Carpenter SD. The plan was to get some sleep and head out. 12 hours into the new day and it's a potty break for the puppers at the farm.

Hey look, a deer... Oh snap... 2 hours later and we finally have both dogs back. Oh well, I guess I will leave tomorrow. 8 hours lost in travel, full belly and tired pup... We will figure it out.

 

Also, South Dakota is bad for my belt line....
