Hi My Name is Uuri. I've been on Tundratalk since before I bought my Tundra, finally registered here. Used to have a pretty modified Tacoma, have 1.5 Lancer Evolutions I used to race and hopefully will again. I am slowly teaching myself to weld and do basic metal fab at home. Pretty much like to go fast in cars, and try to maintain a balance of off road, adventure fun and practical function from my trucks. Would love to go fast in trucks one day too, but that's $$$$$ and for after I can fab more of my own stuff and break it without needing to drive it. I LOVE MY TUNDRA!

Wow thanks for the warm welcome everyone! Usually hardly anyone replies to new member posts and you just get it out of the way to post elsewhere. I guess this is further sign that this is a good forum, which it already seems to be!

I would love to meet members, talk rigs and hit some dirt together.

I'm also loving all the humor here.

Yeah I will try to dig some up and take some new. I could c lireateke 4 build threads from all my unfinished projects if I actually documented more. I have a problem...

Cool, I go through there from time to time too. Keep in touch.

    Good stuff, let me know!

Thanks! Not to sound creepy, but I've been aware of you and your impressive vehicle(s) online existence since back in '10-'11 or something on TW. I appreciate it. Watch out, I just may need your advice somewhat frequently haha!

I'm quitting cars, I said (400whp Evo a bit later)
I'll keep the Tundra stock, I said. (see pics)
Whatever you do, don't crash or let anyone else crash the Evo, at least not again, I said. (Currently have one rolled, and one new shell awaiting transplant. I'm not even going to show the carnage, it's too depressing. At least until my work contract renews and I can actually do something cool to it besides spread out parts in a mess everywhere and lose all the hardware.)

As requested, pics. Freshly detailed with dust and garbage juice tire shine after a dump run.
Rare sight here. As you know, these things get great gas mileage with 35s and never need to refill on gas.
    IMG_8621_zpskcvyohf6_1eec73ca43fcdcb0ae0210a62bac3b0bd8cef900.jpg

Poseur sunset shot on the way to Vegas to get a new Evo shell. When in Vegas, roll the "dubs."
    IMG_8295_zpsgq9ou7ke_8a9f94c79e413168493b84e06c2ae3011b089d81.jpg

Towing the new Evo "shell" (complete car minus engine and trans.) home from Vegas back when it had 20's on Toyo MTs. These are for sale by the way, shameless plug. It went 45-80MPH up that one loooong steady grade home in about 5 seconds pulling this! I was impressed! Mismatched headlights like one of those husky pups. No time to finish headlight swap when rare shells come up for a good deal in another state!

    Looks great!

Definitely look for a cheap bed extender for that lumber!

Saves you a headache every time! Especially on trim and moulding. Those things are a PITA without an extender!
