Just wanted to share this tidbit for anyone else that might be racking their brain and pulling out what hair they may have left. I've had this horrible front end squeak for 2 years and finally figured it out.

Problem: Front suspension squeaks on any slight bump.

Thought it might have been my aftermarket UCA's and I greased the heck out of them but the problem persisted.

Solution: Nut on top hat of front 6112 needs to be tightened.

I don't know if the nut comes loose over time but tightening them did the trick for me. No more creaks and squeaks. I don't know if there is a specific torque figure but I just wanted to share this for the time being.

Hope someone else will find this useful.

Interesting! I've never had one back its way off, but I wonder if that nut wasn't quite torqued down enough and the bushing relaxed a bit allowing a little play. Wish I never had them, but always love finding/fixing a squeak. Makes it feel like a new truck!
