Hey fellas! I’ve used the forum for years, but I finally set up an account to be more participatory. Tundra #1 (a 2000 4.7 Access Cab) was murdered by a Orange Mustang in May so it’s taken me a little bit of time to pick out a replacement. I ended up settling on a 2007 RCSB with a 5.7 and 4WD. Hopefully you guys can help me choose the right upgrades/maintenance/etc to make this the perfect truck for me! I’m sure the forum is saturated with metal workers, but I own a small metal fabrication company so I’m also open to help out anyone in any way that I can.

    Thanks for having me!

Welcome from OKC! Nice find! Do any blacksmith stuff? I need to find someone to make some hand forged items for a furniture project.

Thanks guys! I’ll hand forge basic things for jobs like lamb tongues on railings, but I intentionally limit those projects (it’s hard to charge customers enough to cover the time and gas). To pay the bills, I usually stick to TiG work and custom structural elements/brackets/etc. Because I started my shop on the coast (Charleston and now Savannah), I find myself doing more stainless and aluminum work than anything else.

Thanks! I forgot to post picks of the best part! The interior is immaculate, especially for a 16 year old truck. It’s almost too nice, it makes me uncomfortable .
