Has anyone noticed a clicking sound coming from the rear of the truck when pulling out or backing up? It is not a clunk. It sounds almost like an electric switch firing. I tried to video it but it is not showing up in the vid. Maybe it has always been there and I am just sensitive to it?

This could be what others have identified as a clicking or popping sound. It is especially noticeable when the rear window is down. In there case it was coming from where the bed is bolted to the frame. They loosened the bolts and put shims in between the bed and the frame to stop the sound. Just a guess. I don’t remember the title of those threads. Maybe someone else will remember.

I've got the same thing, believe mine may be what others have referred to as transmission ticking. Mine definitely does sound electrical too, it is odd. Asked my dealer about it and they wanted to blame cat plate but don't believe that is the issue.

I had a Buddy prank me "once" and put a 3' zip tie on my drive shaft.
Looking back it on that one, it was pretty funny.

Thanks - I found the original thread. Couple of easy fixes that frankly should not need to be done on a brand new truck. I love this truck but the squeaky center console and this are really junior varsity!
