Any body shop guys in here

Recently had a lawn crew at work hit my truck with rocks. I got 2 small dents on the back passenger door and 2-3 rock chips on the bed side. My job is paying for the repairs and already gave me an estimate. What would it cost to fix and re-spary the back door and bedside on a DC?

 

I worked at a shop for many years and there’s many things that can determine the price for repair and refinish. Best advice get a few quotes.

I'd like to know too. I was mowing and my tractor threw a big chunk of wood chip at my car door. Let's just say I was wearing ear protection and heard the THUD.

 

Door usually $550-$650 ( minor ding) bedside $650-$750. That’s how much I charge for this type of work in Houston

 

Yeah I was looking for a rough estimate. Like I said, I already got an estimate. You are right at their estimate. They are giving me $1363. I know I could go and get estimates but figure here would be quicker just to check if I was getting the right amount. Regardless, my job would give more if the shop charged more. But that would be another hassle. Thanks

 

It depends on the color of the vehicle, area of the damage (due to blending paint), size of the dents and so forth. Toyota has a lot of "one time use" parts so that would also be a factor.

 

That's not a bad price for dents and all that square footage of paint.
I got an estimate to have some very minor scratches buffed out or painted on my wife's little bronco. They said they'd have to paint entire panels and quoted $3k.
Yeah, nope. I'll get a touch up pen and some meguires.
