yes they are THAT crazy here in California. Also... the rust on this was minimal. It was originally sold in Long Beach, CA (ironically and lived here til about 2015, next owner bought it from CA and moved to Utah, and shortly after Denver. He maintained the frame and it looks good.

 

maybe even more. Similar trucks going for about 5-6k more

 

2001 Limited, bought with 125k original miles, immaculately maintained. Wife and I just opened a our first business and it has been a god send right off the bat. We have 4 dogs and I have purchased a clean retro camper top and horse stall mat for a starter bed so far. Planning on one day changing wheels and tires, bed lining quite a bit of the truck if not the whole thing in the closest color to Imperial Green. Possible Kenwood 10" floating display. Building a frame for a tent top and possibly modding a second gas tank/dog crates for back as a complete buggout/overland/lifetime build. Glad to be part of the Tundra family!

 

Plz don't bedline that whole truck, that paint job is so nice haha. Welcome!

Btw those wheels are the Ivan Stewart TRD wheels. They're somewhat rare.

 

The Imperial Jade looks great in pictures but the paint has been decently heavily farm used and also has hail damage throughout. I love this green but the worry about scratches and dings when I finish the build or go camping or anything along those lines makes me consider. The grey two tone is more rare and thank you for pointing that out about the wheels!! I'm a newbie owner to the Toyota line so I'm excited to dive into these forums!

That's a great looking truck right there! I like your color matched grill better than my chrome. Is your rear bumper color matched as well? Can't wait to get mine out into the dirt and wilderness. Just got it about a few weeks ago.

The rear is not color matched. I've been contemplating a full on chrome delete. Mirror caps, front chrome piece, emblems and rear bumper.

I just bought this 04 DC SR5 a couple months ago. Finally took it on its first 1200 mile road trip to Michigan's Upper Peninsula this past weekend to get better acquainted with it. Thought I'd share a few favorite pictures I took of the truck while up there.
