Traded in my 2021 2 door wrangler in on an SR5 TRD OR as I needed a tow vehicle for our 22’ Airstream. I own a 2019 4Runner and am completely impressed with the build quality so my first pick was definitely Toyota. Before deciding on the Tundra I wanted to see what other trucks might compare. We test drove a 1794 first and then set out to try the competition.

Our first stop was a Chevy dealer and we drove the Silverado. The ride was ok but the interior was pretty bad. The next stop was GMC to check out the Sierra and see if the interior was any better. It wasn’t. Next stop was Ram. Well we actually didn’t stop we just kind of pulled in and out. We then drove by the Ford dealership and slowed down just enough to see if they had anything other than Ford. They did not.

Once we located the exact Tundra we wanted I was able to get the dealer to take off $5000 which brought it all the way down to MSRP (Bastards). I’m still kind of shocked how much they gave me for my Jeep so it kind of evened out.

Just hit 3000 miles today and have to say we are absolutely impressed with this truck. The only thing that needed upgrading was the sound system. Went with JL and a Rockford Fosgate sub woofer and the sound quality is amazing! Tonneau next and then…

I went from Tacoma trd pro manual—>gladiator—>tundra.

I sold my Tacoma for more than I paid for the truck after 2 years of ownership. Moved on to a gladiator, biggest turd I have ever driven. It is probably a rockstar off road, but I felt like I was driving a shopping cart when on road. I got rid of it in less than a week and moved on to a tundra. Test drove multiple American variants, but the Toyota was the best bang for buck truck out there. Waiting for the 2025 Tacoma off road manual and I’ll trade in my tundra for it.

That looks like a really nice setup you've got there... and they look good together too.
