2003 tundra hard to shift out of park and to any other gears automatic

    Hello everyone I have read some other post about shifting problems I went ahead and replaced the shifting cable already but it feels like the actual problem is in the transmission itself where the cable hooks up to the transmission the little arm that comes out and goes through the transmission it looks like to the other side where you're neutral safety switches is there any way to loosen this up after it sits for a couple of years this truck is set for over 2 years I've got everything back together on it had to do a lot of frame repair and just looking for helpful hints to get my truck back on the road thank you
