No volume on radio

I'm having a problem with the factory radio/ amp. I have no volume display but the radio can switch between am, fm, bluetooth, I just don't have any sound.
I've checked the radio and amp fuses and both are still good. Anybody else have issues with their radio like this?

Maybe it's time for the audio upgrade that I've always wanted...

I've disconnected the battery for a minute, updated the firmware (already current), reset the stereo by pressing the vol button. No volume/ sound from dash speakers. Guess I gotta pull the hu and dink around with that...
