At work I stop and start couple hundred times a day and last Friday my 2008 tundra would not come out of drive mode even when I move shifter to other positions. When I start the truck now it is in drive because the RPM's is lower than usual. When I apply the brake pedal the truck goes into neutral or park mode and the RPM's increase to normal. When I let off brake pedal the truck goes back to drive but does now roll forward if shifter is in park BUT will roll forward if in reverse or neutral positons. I have tried to reset transnission by turning truck on/off several times and even removed battery cable for 10 minutes. Any suggestions on where to start looking?? Thanks

Start and stop couple hundred times a day? You mean you turn off engine that many times or just shift into park each time? If so you need a mail truck or maybe a UPS truck. I'd say a shift linkage or something.

Start/stop a couple hundred times a day? If so you need a bike.

Check engine light with this? Sounds shifter solenoid related.
