Greetings! I have a 2010 Tundra with the 5.7. Currently showing the P2440 code plus the ABS error. It also seems to be running in limp mode. I've read lots of other post on it and was curious to hear results of your fix. Either replacement or bypass. Factory part or aftermarket? Thanks for any help.

Sucks to hear you have that code. I got that as well and using obd scanner to clear it multiple times in a driving session... Leaning towards replacing the sais with factory parts to clear this dreaded limp mode.

Rescued this truck from a pothead up north I'm not planning on going full monster, just to update a bit what the guys at Toyota masterfully created. Extended CV axes, Rancho 9600s, new needle bearing, Hewitt Technology secondary air pump bypass, timing chain, VVT screen filter, full towing package, all led custom-made lights and fog lights.
I got mine for the first time yesterday, my ABS sensor was hanging from the wire due to a rusty bolt that just lost the head, and over that, I have issues with the secondary air intake system too, but I'm replacing the whole thing with a Hewitt Technology Eliminator II. I thought about replacing the original valves and all of that but is more expensive and less reliable if you live up north, and even a Toyota technician friend of mine recommended it.
As for the limp mode, you can disconnect the positive wire on the battery for a few minutes and it goes away for a while.

Bypass. You could replace the valves but it will happen again
