I’m getting a new iPhone this week which I will restore with a backup of my current iPhone. My current phone is setup to work with my 22 Tundra. Will I have to re-set it up or will all the settings transfer over to the new phone when I restore the back up of my current phone.

There’s gonna be a few steps to take. I can’t remember what but the truck will know it’s a different device but it’s easy if I recall.

Finally decided to upgrade and got my Iphone 15 yesterday. Setup the new iPhone directly from the old phone but be sure not to skip the update IOS step as 17.0 had a bug fixed in 17.0.2. Way easier than backing up from iCloud. Hardest part was my old iphoneX didn’t have an eSim so I had to log into Verizon to generate new one. Delete old phone from vehicle and pair new one.
