I got my first Toyota which was an ‘04 Tacoma SR4 4x4 for FREE in ’16 and it’s still currently running at 310,xxx.
But I needed a bigger truck so I bought a 2018 Tundra SR5 recently that had a few mods on it already. A 3” (I believe) lift, 35’s, and TRD exhaust.
Unfortunately, on day 2 of ownership the transmission, out of nowhere, stopped working.

But I’m getting it replaced and I’m looking forward to learning more about taking care of it IMG_2815.jpg

Welcome from OKC! How many miles on the transmission failure? I wonder if the safety chain loops on the hitch are showing a bunch of paint wear? Maybe towed too much too often?
