    Need a little more info . Like any work done on the truck ? When was the last oil change ? How many miles on it ?

    5.7s are fairly noisy engines. Does it sound like something bad or just normal mechanical sounds. Switching to 5W30 quieted mine down a lot.

    No lifters - valve train can be a little clanky with 0w oil on cold starts. Heavier oil helps.

    First winter with my Tundra I didn't think the engine was gonna make 20k. :rofl: She's NOISY on startup when it's chilly out.

    Put some 5-30 in and see if that makes it better.
